TIFF Community Impact is dedicated to increasing access to film for individuals from equity-deserving communities across the Greater Toronto Area. Events take place online, at TIFF Bell Lightbox, and in community spaces. Through intentional curation and collaboration with community partners, we aim to create welcoming spaces for participants to connect with one another and celebrate their creative sides.
The short films in this collection feature stories by local creators about emotional vulnerability as a path to connecting more deeply with others, collective care and action in the face of trauma, and finding yourself in community. By making these films available to our partners for free on digital TIFF Bell Lightbox, we hope to continue expanding access to film as a means of connection and care. Click here to watch now.
If your group is interested in co-creating an interactive experience such as a guided discussion or creative workshop in connection with these titles, please contact outreach@tiff.net to learn more.
